Actually, the cave was filled with mineral-rich water and was a constant 136-degrees Fahrenheit. When it was discovered, they pumped the water out and once the mining company is finished mining the silver, zinc, and lead from their mine nearby, they may shut that cavern off and allow it to re-fill with water and just let it exist in its natural state. Which means no more exploring. :)Coal Miner's Granddaughterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14320077738770745217noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5974479864897892693.post-36184667112811584012008-10-09T06:51:00.000-04:002008-10-09T06:51:00.000-04:00Very cool video. But here's a stupid question ... d...Very cool video.

But here's a stupid question ... do they harvest any of those crystals or just document that they are there?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5974479864897892693.post-15831410670480271262008-10-08T22:37:00.000-04:002008-10-08T22:37:00.000-04:00I'm with A Free Man.
