I am the 40-ish granddaughter of Frank (see header), a fiddle-playing coal miner from West Virginia. I was born and raised in said state and have lived in Georgia since 1994. I have a wonderful husband, three beautiful kids, one cranky cat, and one anxiety-ridden dog.
Blogger Scribe template designed by Todd Dominey and tweaked by Coal Miner's Granddaughter with assistance from NATUI and Barefoot Writer. An undulation by quirk-doodlegirl at Colourlovers. Wow. I just got done reading through some of the posts on his site. I can't even fathom how he must feel. I don't know how you overcome something like that.

God Heather. We just talked about this, didn't we? My heart breaks for him.
We made it home. Will talk soon.
Thanks for remembering...
Momma - I don't think you do. I think you either survive it and live with it or... you don't. He's surviving, though, and that's what matters.
NATUI - I KNOW! Glad you're home.
NYCWD - No problem, sweetie. All my best.
