I am the 40-ish granddaughter of Frank (see header), a fiddle-playing coal miner from West Virginia. I was born and raised in said state and have lived in Georgia since 1994. I have a wonderful husband, three beautiful kids, one cranky cat, and one anxiety-ridden dog.

Hello from WV!! What part of WV are you from? I love your blog! I would like to invite you to read mine and tell me your opinions. mtnangelwv.blogspot.com Thank you!
I loved that show. And Thundercats. And Transformers. They blew the hell out of those damned sissy Go-bots. I have to say that The Sorceress in He-Man was my fav, and for some reason I had a it of a crush on Man-At-Arms.

LOL! Me too!!!!!!!
I totally had forgotten about She-Ra, but totally knew all the words to the opening just now when I listened.
Guess I'm part of the diluted gene pool :)
I watched both She-Ra and He-Man. AWESOME!!!
The "beloved steed" bit cracked me up!
I don't know that I ever watched She-Ra.
I used to love She-Ra and He-Man. Cringer was my favorite toy.
By the power of Greyskull! You too??
What? There's no shame in She-Ra. I watched that religiously. And if you ignore the hoochie outfit, she was quite the feminist.
I didn't watch it (I'm a bit older than you), but I did buy my kids the toys, castle and all.
I'm also a bit older than you, but I do remember this show being on. Wasn't my kind of thing anyways...
I gave Lancelot a hand-made He-Man and She-Ra birthday card last year. I kind of rock.
