The Gray Man watches,
Waits,
For the storm.
His cloudy eyes reflect
The angry waves
Brushing the shore.
As the gale nears
He appears
To warn the living.
If you see the Gray Man,
Run.
For the tempest comes.

Now that's what I like - a good ghost story. And if I'm ever on Pawley's Island, I'll be sure to take heed of any "gray Man" I might see.
