To Bed, To Bed

I have been abusing my body as of late.

I have many hobbies, many interests. And in the last year or so, I have been staying up late in an effort to get said hobbies and interests taken care of and done so that I may remain a somewhat happy and sane woman. What I seem to forget each night that there is always an early morning to follow.

And every now and again, said late nights coupled with said early mornings get to me. Like right now. So, it is 8:12PM, New Year's Day, and I am putting aside a coherent blog post, scrapbooking, reading, and even cross-stitching, in order to sit in my bed and watch MythBusters until I fall into a deep and dreamless sleep.

Nighty, night. Sleep tight. And those bed bugs? Nail 'em with some Raid.

Honey, you know this very same thing is the only thing that my husband and I bicker about. He nags me constantly because I stay up until at least 3A. It really drives him batty that I stay up so late.
So I hope we will both do better for the new year.

My word verification-laterchi-evidently what we are both blessed with-the ability to stay up late. ;-)

I feel ya.
I've gotten into a horrible late night pattern the last few weeks. It's been OK because the kids are sleeping in a bit more than the norm. Alas, they go back to school on Monday and the early mornings are going to hurt if I don't start going to be earlier to prep.

Go girl...I feel the same way. I never have enough time to get everything done so I end up staying up way too late too. It's been great catching up with y'all on webcam lately. And here we are leaving in 4 weeks from Germany. Well at least we'll have it when we head to TX.

I know what you mean. I find myself absolutely exhausted some days after staying up far too late on the computer or reading or practicing guitar. The problem is that the only time to do it is after the boy goes to bed - limited window of opportunity!

Other Heather - WOW! 3AM? I would be a zombie. You are hard core, girl!

MommyCosm - Yeah, we're suffering today because of the earlier morning and school run. Ish.

NATUI - It RAWKED!

Vonda - I'm so very glad we got Skype! Even when you get back to the states, we'll use it! :)

A Free Man - Amen. I hear you.
