- I am the 40-ish granddaughter of Frank (see header), a fiddle-playing coal miner from West Virginia. I was born and raised in said state and have lived in Georgia since 1994. I have a wonderful husband, three beautiful kids, one cranky cat, and one anxiety-ridden dog.

I don't want to bum you out more - though I also don't know if this will be as big of a bummer to you as it is to me (I lived closer to it & therefore probably went there for more childhood visits), so maybe I won't do any more damage to your mood - but did you hear about Blenko? They're closed until further notice. Huge dispute with the gas company, they've been cut off & some of their furnaces will be destroyed by the lack of heat. The gift shop will remain open until everything is sold. All their glassblowing staff has been laid off until further notice. :o(
And I hope you get all those thing, as needed.
