I am the 40-ish granddaughter of Frank (see header), a fiddle-playing coal miner from West Virginia. I was born and raised in said state and have lived in Georgia since 1994. I have a wonderful husband, three beautiful kids, one cranky cat, and one anxiety-ridden dog.

This is the nest of baby birds located in a flower pot just outside the kids' Montessori school. I hope they, and you, have a great Earth Day (Easter, too)!
Thank you for these pics. How appropriate for Easter and Earth Day. New life!! Rebirth too as all around me I see the trees coming alive and flowers sprouting. I finally got my peas to sprout. In Oregon, we've had rain, rain and more rain for ages now and yesterday we had 70 degrees and gorgeous sunshine so we could take the Easter meal outside. Today? Sigh. More rain. Oh well. I think more sunshine is on the way. I hope you enjoy the day too.

Don't touch them! You know what they say happens when you touch baby bird eggs.
