Friend Torture Is Fun!
What do I do when I feel a little under the weather? Or when I'm bored? Ah, I torture my friend, Teri, needlessly.
You see, I discovered last week that the twins love music from High School Musical 2. Well, I think they do. We were listening to the XM Kids station and the above song was playing, and they were just be-bopping along to the music. So, I downloaded the soundtracks from both movies.
Now, I must say, I'm probably the only person on the planet, who doesn't have teenagers, who can tell you what High School Musicals 1 and 2 were about. This is because of Ty-man's cousin, Jennifer. See, after her visit this past summer, I wanted to feel more in-touch with her generation. So, I TiVo'ed both movies, watched them (it took me two weeks to get through them without gagging, pausing, and going back to a re-run of Supernatural), and promptly gouged out my eyes. Cute, but so not my generation. I will say this, though, the tunes are catchy and Disney knows it's kids.
So, when I'm not entertaining the twins, I'm randomly calling Teri at home or at work, cranking this song up on the computer, and torturing her needlessly. Surprisingly enough, the house hasn't been firebombed. Love you, man!
Now, ready to stick hot pokers in your ears, yet? Come on, pussy, push that play button and be a man/woman! Listen already!

I'm probably the only person on the face of this planet who hasn't seen High School Musical. So I took your challenge (I'm not a pussy wussy) and I hit the play button. Couldn't find the stop button fast enough. O, that is annoying! No wonder you call it "torture" when you call your friend and play it to her, over and over again. You're lucky she remains you friend! lol I guess Disney does know kids and what they like, cause the teeny bopper generation sure seems to be crazy about that show and the "music" (I use that term lightly), too. Me? I'm gagging and trying to burst my eardrums so I don't have to hear it! All I can say is, I'm glad you don't have my phone number. ha ha

This Teri person must be a real saint and a wonderful friend to put up with that kind of abuse. Hmmm. Maybe she needs to get you another Soccer Mom sticker for your MINI-VAN?!?!
Woman! You buy me another mini-van sticker and I'm hiding your beer and replacing your Gator plate with a Dawg, baby!
OK, just kidding. Then you firebomb my house.
Hug, hug, kiss, kiss!
ok, you can be a little mean sometimes, ya know! Actually, I happen to have 3 kids in the house that LOVE High School Musical, and it drives me crazy. I am proud to say though, I have never see either one of the movies! I make them watch it upstairs! Have a great day!

Merry Christmas ;-)
OK -- let's just say that High School Musical is NOT for teens!!! It is for 7-year old daughters like mine... Alas, I have seen both of these films and Jump! and every single film that Zac (hiding in the closet) Efron has been in MULTIPLE times! Now excuse me, but I have to go watch Highlander or Blade Runner to get this awful taste out of my mouth!
